Taken w/ Canon G6, 1/60, F3.0, with flash (+2/3 adjustment I think), ISO 100, white balance set to flash. Picture size reduced and applied red eye fix.

Nice picture. Could you post the basic camera info (type, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, flash on or off) with it.
