I snapped this photo the other evening while the SF Giants-Montreal Expos game was in progress from SBC Park in San Francisco. It was shot at full wideangle, but I de-skewed with Photoshop to try to make the vertical lines be really vertical. The colors are kind of weird, but I rather liked the overall feeling. The foreground structure is a drawbridge for 3rd Street, in the background. Shot at f2.8, 1/4 second, ISO 200, and cleaned up with Noise Ninja. Enjoy?

Great shot John. Did you manually set anything on the camera for the shot or did you use a program mode? I am considering the purchase of an FZ20 when they come out and this shot may have just made up my mind.

Nice shot there John. You can get some nice views of the city and the bridge if you go to the other side of the park :-)

And also this "String of Pearls" (AKA SF-Oakland Bay Bridge):

Nice shot. I love the building windows...

The FZ20 has a vertical/horizontal gride overlay which will come in handy for shot alignment.

The FZ20 has a vertical/horizontal gride overlay which will come in handy for shot alignment. Thanks! Actually, the FZ10 has the same thing - not only does it give you the H and V alignment, it also tells you where the "Golden Mean" is for placing your subject in the field. I use it sometimes, but it wouldn't have helped too much in the "Urban..." shot, at widest wideangle, the left and right "verticals" just aren't vertical!
