Budget
* The primary camera im looking at is listing at 399.99... id rather not spend much more but less is always better...
Size
* size isnt a big factor for me, as long as the camera isnt ginormous
Features
How many megapixels will suffice for you?
about 4 is good for me. 3 would be ok
* What optical zoom will you need?
Standard is fine, but i need a macro feature
* How important is “image quality” to you? (Rate using a scale of 1-10)
about 8
Do you care for manual controls?
not really...
General Usage
* What will you generally use the camera for?
Will mostly be used for taking pictures of models to post online(so will need macro capability). but also will be using it as an everyday type camera.
* Will you be making big prints of your photos or not?
not really... maybe a size up from the standard 4x3 or whatever but no posters
Will you be shooting a lot of indoor photos or low light photos?
most will probably be indoors
Will you be shooting sports and/or action photos?
not likely
Miscellaneous
Are there particular brands you like or hate?
ive been mostly looking at olympus.
Are there particular models you already have in mind?
the olympus c-765 is what ive been looking at so far
(If applicable) Do you need any of the following special features? (Wide Angle, Image Stabilization, Weatherproof, Hotshoe, Rotating LCD)
The thing that concerns me about the c-765 is the battery, (as in doesnt just use AAs or something similar. Its not too big a problem but if i can find a similar camera that takes normal batteries that would be nice.
As mentioned before i do need a macro feature on the camera.
