W7 vs P200

i'm thinking abt buying new digital camera.. have done some research thru the reviews posted on the internet and i'm interested in W7 and P200..

ive found out that the features n specification btw these two are more or less the same. however, the sensor type is different; W7 offers 'super HAD CCD' while P200 has normal CCD.

:confused: do you have any advise/comment on how significant it is to have that super HAD CCD? and btw the two, what's the different? which one should i go for?

i got p200 and i liked it so far...but the weather and work kept the camera at bay for a long time now

Everything I have read indicates that the p200 has a 'super' HAD as well. Though I haven't gotten to read the actual product box/papers yet. I've just decided that whichever one I come across in black first is the one I'll get.

Edit: checked the sony site and it is indeed super had, for whatever it's worth. After scouring ebay and the web for over a week looking for black at a non-inflated price, I gave up and just ordered a red one from onecall.com for $367 or so. Highly rated store, at least according to cnet. I just hope it looks red, and not pink. Worst-case scenario I sell it on ebay and buy a black later, but I have a trip coming up next week and can't wait any longer.
