I have narrowed my choices down to a G6 or a the new unseen C-7070. I am waiting impatiently to see one and view some images. Am I missing some other choice base on the questions below. The C-8080 is too big and the Canon Pro1 has a dust getting behind the lens problem.

Which camera should I buy?

Very - coming from a 35MM SLR (Minolta X700)
Do you care for manual controls?
Yes
General Usage
* What will you generally use the camera for?
Grandchildren, family portraits, landscapes, flowers
* Will you be making big prints of your photos or not?
8X10 the largest.
Will you be shooting a lot of indoor photos or low light photos?
Yes
Will you be shooting sports and/or action photos?
Moving children

Are there particular brands you like or hate?
Hate: HP, Kodac,
Are there particular models you already have in mind?
G6, C7070 (want to see some images first)

Indoor shots would be easier with a wide angle, want a hotshoe.
