can't decide canon sd500 or fuji finepix z1

which camera should i get canon sd500 or should i wait till june for the fuji finepix z1 which i like the look of and the 2.5" screen. by reputation do the fuji cameras match the quality of canon.

I am no authority, but I do notice the Fuji does not have an autofocus assist light... to me that is a significant consideration for those times when you do want to take a picture in low lighting. And you never know when that might be... Another consideration for me, IMHO, is the Fuji uses xD memory which is more expensive... :rolleyes:
