I have a choice here, for nearly the same price:

Nikon d70 [included 28/80+70/300]
or Konica Minolta DImage A200 [nothing included]

I've been using Konica Minolta Dynax 404si [35/80]
and Nikon Coolpix 775 before, and now I want to have the best combined in one digicam.

Pls help me.
Thanks!

The D70 would be my choice, but then I am biased toward dSLR's. Keep in mind that the lens combo you are looking at does not include a wide angle due to the 1.5X crop factor which makes the 28-80 on a 35mm camera a 42-120 on the D70 (this is true for most dSLR's). I would recommend looking at something like the Sigma 18-125 (~$270) instead.

Please keep in mind that dSLR's DO NOT HAVE A VIDEO MOVIE MODE. They are still cameras only.

Additionally, dSLR's have a learning curve, even using auto mode, so it would be a good idea to get some references on photography, and the D70 in particular. Here are some reference sites:

Hope this helps.

I happen to agree with George-

The Nikon D-70 would be your best choice. Personally, I have found that the book offered by www.digitalcamerasmadereallyeasy.com to be the best digital camera book to easy into digital cameras.

I'd be surprised if you didn't find the book to be the best digital camera book to ease into digital cameras. You wrote it, didn't you?

David

P.S. Welcome back! Haven't seen you post for a while.

David-

You have not seen me in 10 days because I have been out making a living conducting digital camera workshops.

David-

Another thought- If you judge a book by the numerical count of sales versus the return rate which is 0.002%. Consider this: we have sold more books because unlike any other digital camera book on the market, we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee, and we offer an e-mail hotline, where we provide constant support and answer any question our customers might have.

That is exactly why our book is placed by the reviewers, not us, into the "best" category. We have sold more books and provide more service than anyone else. That is a hard combination to beat.
