I've been reading alot about the s70 and there isn't as much information about the f810.
for some reason, the fuji seems more atractive and comfortable.
and I can tell from the reviews i have read if there's a crucial difference in photo quality.
love to read your opinions. for other options as well (can not afford G6)
thanks

I'll be interested to see which way you go with this one - both are quite worthy contenders. It's a shame about the strange quality settings on the Fuji - why don't they put high quality JPG settings on them at 6mp?? - The compression at 6 and 3 mp is quite strong. the interpolated 12mp is half way good I reckon - a bit strange though!. End results, printed on paper, I would expect would be pretty good. As for the S70 - that looks lovely - all the pictures seem to glow with 'niceness' - shame it seems to have SO much purple fringing -especially in tree branches etc - but woud you really notice that much??? Is the Fuji E550 available for you? (same only different as the F810).

Rer-

If you have your heart set on a Fuji, take a look at the Fuji e-550, it is virtually the same camera as the 810 and a lot less in price. It has been reviewed by Jeff Keller right on this site. If the Canon S-70 appeals to you, you might give some consideration to the Canon G-6, its a better camera.
