The popular choices appear to be the Nikon #5T and #6T, the Olympus MCON-35, MCON-40, B-Macro, and the Raynox close-up lens sets. I have also heard the Canon 500D gets acceptable results and is compatible with the FZs. While many report decent results with the hoya and tiffen close-up filter sets they don't appear to compare favorably with the dedicated close-up lenses mentioned above. It appears you get better zoom control with the close-up lens as opposed to the filter sets. Stacking various close-up lenses will give even more impressive results but focus control and lighting become critical as does the fight against shallow depth of field.

I am still shopping for macro attachments myself so cannot speak from experience but I am leaning toward the Nikon 6T from the results I have seen so far.

Just discovered this site which offers a comprehensive list of close-up lenses.

thank you for taking your time to reply, I guess the nikon 6t is the best, everyone recorments it - expecially for larger zooms (like FZ20)
I will go for it at ebay :)
