Fuji s5100 Vs Canon S1 is

Wich one should I buy? Fuji s5100 or Canon S1 is?
I want a big zoom, but also good quality, not only to make photos of family and friends but also of surf, artistical. Which one should I pic?

I'm no expert, but was comparing cameras myself just a couple months ago, and from what I know, the fuji doesn't have image stabilization, which really helps at full zoom, unless you're using a tripod. The canon does have image stabilization, but doesn't have a focus assist light, which is tremendously helpful when it's "dim" out. Have you considered the Panasonic FZ3? It's 3 mp, like the canon, but has much better image quality in my opinion. It has the focus assist light, image stabilization, 12x zoom, and a better lens. The canon and I believe the Fuji have a better movie mode, if that's important to you, but in all other respects, the panasonic outshines them both. Hope this helps!

There is no doubt at all in my mind, as I own both digital cameras and can make a direct comparison. The Canon S-1 IS is clearly the better digital camera.
