Is there a feeling out there and what printers are good for home use. I'd love to get some feedback...Im not a rich man, but would gladly pay more for better quality....What have you all learned from your experiences???

Well if you want my advice on the subject basiclly nearly all printers are the same. It depends what you want it for e.g. digital photos. I mean basiclly I like laser printers, it gives pictures a "fresh" look

I mean basiclly I like laser printers, it gives pictures a "fresh" lookI haven't found this to be the case. 8-ink printers produce stunning, lab-quality results. I use a Canon i9900 with Pro paper and the results are ASTOUNDING! I can calibrate the color PERCISELY. I've seen some dye-sub/thermal transfer printers that produce images as good, but not in large format sizes. The color lasers I've used don't seem to be up-to-snuff to me...

OK, I have to ask. What laser printer are you using that produces images equal to or better than any of the top quality photo inkjet printers?
Thanks,
Eric
