Very nice, I am considering the G6 as my next camera - the clarity of the images seems to be good. What were the settings?

According to the Exif info, f4 and 1/1244 exposure with pattern metering. My guess is it's aperture priority or more likely, full auto.
I'm curious as to where the bridge is.
Full auto is correct. It was too cold to play with manual settings ( and I don't really know what I'm doing) and it was literally the first pic with the camera.
So far I am extremely pleased with the image quality. Right out of the box it was very sharp.
Bridge is in Albany, NY.

That's so encouraging. Straight out of the box and a good pic - it is a great camera, I was sorry it wasn't quite right for me as it is so good, and a nice bright lens as well. Good luck with it then. Try out experiments with manual settings when it's not important - you'll learn a lot playing with this camera.
