white AF Lamp for FZ20?

can i obtain a white AF lamp for my FZ20???? the red just isn't bright enough to focus in a nightclub environment....

The assist light is only good for 7 ft if that.
There should be plenty of light in a night club for the focus to work, not sure if there is enough light to get good pictures without a flash but it should focus.
Change your method of focusing to spot focus and remember the camera needs a vertical edge to focus on.

genece.. i don't think we go to the same clubs :D... but also at live concerts where I'm supposed to be running around taking photos of punters it's annoying to have to take 3 to get one in focus...

will try centered focus, i think I am doing that already.

other thing i notices... if someone is smoking a cigarette between me and the camera (say .25-.5m) away... it will focus on the smoke :eek: quite annoying.

also using the slow sync flash did not always make the camera focus well enough.
