Pictures at 1920x1200

Hello all,

I am looking to buy a digital camera soon to take some high resolution shots.

I have a laptop with a 1920 x 1200 display and I want to produce pictures at that resolution but all the cameras I have seen so far do not support this resolution (16:10), only 1920 x 1080 (16:9).

Is there a way of taking a shot at one of the higher resolutions and reducing the size without stretching the vertical aspect?

Can I define a 1920x1200 crop area and just place the crop rectangle where I want?

Yes, In photoshop you can specify the aspect ratio of the area you are cropping
