tutrials for photoshop ver7

hi all have trial vertion of photoshop, is there a tutorial that runs within photoshop ,main problem is how i compare original picture to one thats been modified cannot see how i can view both images on screen side by side.

The quick way to see before and after is to go to the History Palette (Window>History). Scroll to thumbnail at the very top of the palette. Clicking on the thumbnail will show you your image as it was when you opened it. Clicking on the last listing in the History palette will show you the finished image.

thanks jay find photoshop rather hard to get to grips with it seems to be able to do a lot ,change skys etc but is not so easy for novice to learn.
