If anyone has purchased either the C-765 or C-770, can you please help me out? I was curious as to whether you have had problems with indoor shots, redeye, and if you have experienced a phenomenon of the lens rattling or wobbling when fully extended. Thanks!

I have a C-720 and the lens rattles, but just ignore it. It hasn't caused any problems in 1.5 years of hard use.

Indoor shots are sometimes a problem since the camera doesn't have an AF-assist lamp. All small cameras have some degree of redeye problem, there's really no way to completely avoid it. I haven't noticed it being worse on my 720 compared to other cameras.

Pixchick-

I own the Olympus C-765 and have a lot of experience with that camera. The lens rattle was worse on the older Olympus ultra zooms, than with the C-765/C-770 twins.

The C-765/C770 twins do not have an AF Illuminator so they have some problems with very low light focusing. Because these two digital cameras have been pruposefully made very small and compact, the flash unit is physically close to the taking lens and they do have a redeye problem.

That said, red eye is not nearly as bad on the C770/765 as it is on the Canon S series from my experience with both (My mom has S45 and I have C770)
