I might become un-popular for asking, but I trying anyway....
I know you can get all sorts of teleadaptors for the FZ20 - ideally to take great picturs of animals...
I have read this fine review of different adaptors (I recorment this review)
http://www.pbase.com/10kzoomfz/tele_pd62_comparisons
And can clearly see that there is a big different in the produced images - expecially when going for more than x1.4
Now I have seen that nikon is making a x1.7 adapptor (TC-E17ED) for the 8800, witch on paper looks better than the original panasonic DMC LTZ10
It has large ED glasses, have a greater magnification - and aditional it is a litle cheaper (less expensive)
using ED glasses should in my belive be a better optic, and hopefully be able to produce brighter colors, ED should be important when talking long focal range - in this case up to 432x1.7=734 mm
Know Im woundering if it is at all posible to attacth this to the FZ20, and what kind of converters are needed if posible.
also if anybody know of any sample picturs of this compination, it would be great
Thanks :D

First thing you need to know is the rear thread size (in mm). From there you can look for an adapter (Raynox, Pemaraal, or Phayee). If at all possible try NOT to have to go with a stepup or stepdown ring (this puts the tele that much further from the FZ lens. Do some reading over in the steves-digicams.com Panasonic forum. I got my FZ20 a week ago and ordered a OLY TCON14B tele this past week. There are also some pics on the above forum from someone with the LTZ10 lens (amazing) but too much $ for me. Good Luck, Gerry

Yes, LZT10 is same price as the complete camera - It's might worth it, but after all - we are all trying to get most value for our money :D
After looking at more reviews, and sample pictures, I have desided that the TCON 14B is the best (and also the other olympus assosories) - it seam to produce sharp images, and at a low price - I think I go for that too.
No point in trying to a litle more, and pay a lot more....

Thanks for the link, it was usefull information - now I just have to wait until spring, before Ching-Kuang Shene the "master" are able to post som sample pictures...
(Personally I guess it will have more viganette than 14B when zooming about x4, small glass sizes tend to make viganette)
About the E17ED, I have looked and looked for a size of its attachment point, and so far it seam like it is 60 mm - atleast acording to this german web site, they are describing the original adaptor used with nikon camara to connect this TC, and they describe the adaptor to have a 60 mm attachment point, so I asume this is where the E17ED goes.

Does anybody know if a adaptor to attaching a 60 mm TC to FZ20 is availble ?

I haven't heard of any 60 mm adapters but it should be possible to use a 62mm adapter with a 62mm-60mm step down ring.

Any update on how TC-E17ED compare to TCON-14B?

This lens has a deep recessed rear optic. It was design to accommodate the Nikon zoom entering the chamber. Now you are going to move it further away with a series of step rings. I project a very limited shooting range and F-stops.

I agree, the nikon will proberbly make viganette at anything below x12
look this review
http://www.cs.mtu.edu/~shene/DigiCam/User-Guide/FZ-10/Converters/Lenses/Telephoto.html
witch include the "smaller" nikon 15ED - as you may see, there is some viganette, even at 12x, and we may expect the 17ED to behaive simmilar.
I have already bought the 14B, and I love it, it have perfect image quallity
