Hi everybody,
I am ready to order Nikon 3700 from compuplus. Just dont know if they are reliable. If anyone has experience with them please let me know

Compuplus is cheaper than Amz or Newegg by 30%, but i dont want be "penny wise, pound fool" by dealing with a "bait & switch" online retailer.

Thanks

Shank

Yes, I just did early Friday morning. I ordered a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W1 on Friday and later received a confirmation email immediately after the purchase. A few hours later I received an email containing a tracking number for my purchase. I can't respond on how the whole experience was for me since my camera isn't supposed to be here until Tuesday, March 15th but so far everything has been great. I know resellerratings.com only gave them about an average score and Newegg is rated very high by them. I've purchased allot of stuff from Newegg and love it and they have good prices but Comp-U-Plus has better prices as far as digital cameras are concerned.

At this point, I'd recommend Comp-U-Plus but that would be premature since I don't know the full outcome yet but so far them seem fine.

I bought a Panasonic digital camera from them last year. The price was very good and everything was shipped as promised. Also, if you are interested in a Mack extended warranty - they have 5 year warranties for around $27. The only complaint I have is I bought a generic batery from them and it only lasts about 1/2 as long as the Panasonic battery.

Well I received my Sony DSC-W1 a day early. I got it yesterday but then that's to be expected of Fed Ex I've found from experience. As far as Comp-U-Plus is concerned, everything has gone well. I don't know about returns since I haven't had to do this and hopefully won't have to do this. I'm very happy with the camera and I'm already messing around with full manual mode. I've learned allot over the past day. Of course I guess one would learn allot if one didn't know jack about not only digital cameras but even film cameras!

Anyway, aside from the few shipping options which in turn makes it slightly more expensive (only in the shipping dept) than other companies listed; Comp-U-Plus is a company that I would recommend to other people! Even with the shipping, it's still cheaper than many other companies. Of course it depends on what particular camera your interested in as different cameras may be cheaper at different online retailers. The only thing that I'd recommend that you do before buying (any camera) is to go to your local camera shop to see what you want.
