What are you pros using to clean finger prints and nose smudges off of LCDs? I've heard the bit about using a micro fiber Q tip slightly moistened with distilled water but that doesn't always cut the body oil deposits left by finger prints and nose smudges.

I breathe on the LCD and rub gently with my cotton handkerchief.

I have also used Fellowes LCD screen cleaner. It's expensive and I get better results from the old breath and a handkerchief method.

Absolutely.

If it's a real problem for you then get some LCD screen protectors from your local camera store (or Staples or somewhere like that) and put one over your screen.

If you're in the UK then I'd suggest you use Jessops own brand. I bought some and when it came time to replace it I couldn't find them. So I stupidly bought some that are packaged by Hama and they were nothing like so good and three times more expensive. Luckily, I found the Jessops ones again!

Take a look at this link:

As for me, my camera has a hard plastic cover over the LCD, so I just use a soft lens cloth or some other type of non-abraisive cloth.
