HELP with fugi finepix 2800 -----

Hi, Recently a friend gave me his fugifilm finepix 2800 series camera , because he had purchased a new one. With the camera he gave me a users manual, and usb connection cord, but no connection software. It occured to me that I must need the software CD-Rom to install onto my computer so that I will be able to transfer pictures from the camera to my pc. My question is would there be any way to set up the camera and add the pictures onto my computer without this CD-Rom, and if not how can I get one of these Cd-Roms?

The answer is yes, Windows XP (and other windows OS's) will have the ability to transfer pictures directly from your camera. If you don't have XP (or another version of windows that has this feature) you have 2 options. 1- you can try to download the software from Fuji's website, 2- you can purchase a memory card reader (Around US $15). Another small suggestion (not camera related) You really shouldn't post your email directly in the forum, this is available for anyone to view. A lot of us on this forum are here just to help and have only good intentions, but others on the internet may not.
