Hey guys, I've been using the 4500 for a few months since someone gave it to me.
The problem I have is that I can't figure out where the video mode is so I can't record movies. I'm assuming it's under the 'Continuous' menu when I'm taking pictures but whenever I scroll down it skips that menu.
How can I fix this?

Here's how it should work. The first page of the Shooting Menu gives you the following options:
White Balance
Metering
Continuous
Best Shot Selector
Image Adjustment
Saturation Control
Scroll down to the Continuous option and push the multi-selector button to the right to get the Continuous menu. Movie is the last option on the Continuous memu.
Are you saying that it won't go into the Continuous menu when you're push the multi-selector button to the right in the Shooting Menu, or that you can't even get into the Shooting Menu to get the Continuous option? If it's the latter problem, you need to switch out of Automatic mode in order to get the Shooting Menu. If it's the former, I'm not sure what the problem would be.

I have a 4800 and I assume it is the same... look at the selector wheet at the top. Locate an icon that looks like a mivie camera. Rotate the wheel until you access that icon. Aim and hold down the shutter button. That's all there is to it.
By the way... the quality of the video sucks. If you want to shoot video, but a camcorder.
