Hi all, I am seriously thinking about purchasing the DMC LC1 and was wondering if there are any owners out there that could give me their opinion on the camera.

Cheers Rans :)Rans, I don't own one, but I've watched with interest the posts about it on http://www.dpreview.com "Panasonic Talk" forum. You might go over there and search for the DMC-LC1. There you'll find user comments, photos, and criticisms. The biggest criticism I've heard is that when shooting in RAW format, it takes something like 6 seconds to write the card before you're allowed to shoot again. But, if you're using JPG format, that shouldn't be a problem. Photos I've seen from it are really nice. It seems like it would be really nice to have all the controls be mechanical rings instead of menus!
