I have been trying to find a sunpack 383 super in stock for my FZ20 but all the vendors that I like to go to have them back ordered or out of stock or discontinued this flash. I found a few places with this flash but they want too much for it. The price I had for a new one is $59.99 and some places are trying to charge $79.99 or more.
Does anyone have a store they can refer to me that has it for a decent price in stock?
If not does anyone have a better alternative. I am willing to pay $200 for a flash if it's worth it and works well with the fz20 but some of the alternatives I read about in this forum don't entice me. I want the swivel and a powerful flash but I do not want a slave only flash and I want it to fit into the hotshoe of my camera.
Thanks ahead of time.

I bought a Promaster 5550DX for my FZ20. I got it National Camera and Video for around $110. Like you, I couldn't find a Sunpak or it's twin sold at Ritz Camera, the Quantaray 383. You can see the specs at www.promaster.com. If you ever get a DLSR you can get a dedicated module for it also. This flash has really improved my indoor shots.

This has been stated to be the most powerful flash for the FZ cameras

And this is a 383

B&H photo suffered from a massive fire yesterday, i hope all their stuff is safe. They truly are one of the best camera stores online.
Focus camera already has the Sunpak 383 out of stock

Thanks for the input all of you.
As for the flashes:
The Sunpak Pz-5000 looks nice but is the price higher due to the TTL? I know it's more powerful.
383 seems a bit of an older flash that every seems to like.
I'll probably go with the 5000 then if it works well with the fz20. Thanks again any other input would be great.

Keep in mind that the 5000 will not work in TTL mode on the Panasonic FZ20 as the FZ 20 doesn't do any TTL for flash. If you can't find a Sunpak 383 you might do well to take a look at the Vivitar 283 or the 285HV, they're both as good as the Sunpak and about the same price. And available at most of our favorite stores.
Good Luck,
Bill

Don't forget about the used option. I purchased a used 285HV, in **perfect** condition (the guy I bought it from had it for less than 1 year) on eBay for $18! Beautiful flash for an excellent price.
