...maybe it's a permission issue? Here's one I picked up from your first link:

the next to last, with the ship under the sun just submerging into the clouds. Very nice.
I was in the Indian Ocean in Dec 1971 and saw lots of skies like these. Beautiful memories.
V ery nice sunsets. They look oriental but I bet they're not.
Here's one I took in Tallinn in 2003.
Explorer, nice shots, what camera did you use to take these shots and the other shots in ur gallery?

Hey,
Wow, they are amazing! Nice job, my favorite is the one with the sailboat in between the rock formations. This is the best part of shooting sunsets (besides how beautiful they are), IMHO, being able to silhouette the foreground against the backround. This is because it can help so much in composition, as is shown in that example. Thanks for sharing!

i'm also actually on the process of learning how to get a good setting to get a good sunset/sunrise with my olympus c750uz. however, i realized that every sunset/sunrise requires different setting because the amount of light varies depedently as the sun goes down and also depending on the clouds (if there is any). ok, this how i set my camera in taking all those sunsets:
- P mode
- iso auto ( but i guess some were at iso50)
- iESP (auto focus mode) - don't know what's the equivalent of this in other brands
- exposure is constantly adjusted depending on zoom and light level coming from the sun. generally, from -2.0EV when the sun is still up there...up to +0.0EV when the sun is almost down.
- to get a silhouet effect, adjust the RED settings to full or depending on your preference as how 'redish' you want them to be. sometimes i also keep adjusting this mode while the sun is going down. from the FULL bar red when the sun is still up there....to LESS red bar when the sun is almost down.
- don't limit your shots, fire as many as you can...then just sort then out later :D you'll be surprised and sometimes you won't believe you are able to get those 'decent' shots :D

The images are not showing (maybe too large) For more than a few you might just want to put in a pointer to the hosting site and let folks wander the full size versions.
Also you might want to delete the last couple of posts where the pictures did not follow, just to clean it up a little.
