Here are a few digital cameras you might want to investigate. The Kodak DX-6340 is a 3mp camera with 3X optical zoom. It sells on the internet for about $US 210. The Kodak DX-7440 is a 4mp camera with 4x optical zoom and a lot of features. It sells on the internet for about $US 275. The HP R707 is a 5mp camera with 3X optical zoom that has nice features as well. It sells on the internet for about $US 300. The Sony W-1 is another 5mp camera with 3X optical zoom and lots of features. It sells on the internet for about $US 360.
Finally, there is the Canon S-1 which is a 3mp camera with 10X of optical zoom and lots of features, including stabilization. It sells on the internet for about $US 330.

I hope this information is helpfel.
