Canon put an LCD backlight on the SD500, but how about the buttons? Canon should make the main buttons "light up" when you switch on the LCD backlight to make them easier to see (esp in pitch black night conditions).

Plus, how about a built in torch-flash which lights up with the click of a button? This is great if you forget to bring a torchlight

We could go a step further and add 3 blades an a can opener. LOL...the swiss army camera. :D

Problem Solver-

The bottomline, at least for me because I take a lot of Night digital photos, and concert type digital photos, is simply that I have to know the digital camera I am working with well enough that I can instinctively use the digital camera in total darkness without having to see the controls.
