As much as I enjoy using digital, sometimes nothing is as pleasurable to eye a roll of film, and to ponder, should I take TMAX 3200, or will 400TX do for the evening? Then to come back, get out the trays, developer, changing bags, and go through the whole procedure. It's nice to take a break and go back to your roots, especially so for me. Anyway, I wanted to share some of my favourite film photos, perhaps someone has some too? From their Pentax, or not =)

I hope it's not wrong of me to post this, but breathing ( or trying to! ) some life into a forum is always nice. Any thoughts or comments?

Ah. Working with your hands in a black bag (blind). playing with the chroma head. Getting just that right look with dodging paddles. The smell of developer in the air. Working under the ruby glow. Watching the image appear as if by magic...

...then having to clean it all up?

I'll stick to my Epson 870. No muss, no fuss. Just clean the nozzels and go.

Nice pictures. Scanned negatives, or contact prints? I like the vignetting effect. Old film just gives it a different look. Makes me want to fire up the FE... or not. ;)

Hmm.... I just noticed some 19 year old undeveloped slide film.... gives me ideas about developing it. Gives me also ideas about using my 20 year old roll of black and white 100ASA, EFKE film (120).

Maybe I'm lazy but I kind of prefer the ease of digital too.

Still having a tough time deciding between the D70 and the all-in-ones.
