considering that there is a lot more noise on the sd300 compared to the sd200, and the fact that it "appears" as though the sd400 is going to use the same small sensor found in the sd200 and 300, should we be expecting even more noise and the same blurry corners in the sd400??

That`s why I wanted to know if SD200/300 will stop from production !.

I`ve looked at some samples of the SD400 and compared them with the ones from SD300 and guess what ?. ... .

That's exactly my thought process !!! I think the camera is simply too small to support a 7 mpg processor !

But the SD500 has a larger CCD than the SD200, SD300, and SD400. It's not clear than there will be noise problems.

 No, no, nooo ... .!. You don`t undestand.

If you look closely at the last post, I didn`t said anything about SD500 !.

I said that SD200, SD300, AND SD400 have the same CCD, and thus the last will have (has) more noise.

(Yes, SD500 has (suppousely) a little less noise).

I think the pic quality is roughly the same for both. I've seen test shots from my local store (I've a friend there).
