I have just bought the Canon A85 from the internet. So, I am not very familiar with the camera yet. When I first used it I realised that the zoom laver make strange noises, when The zoom is finished there is a strange noise like "creck creckkkk"...This noise is related ONLY with the zoom and is quite anoying...Is that normal or my camera has any problem?
Thanks a lot,
Veronica :)

Vero,
My 85 makes a very soft/muffled "clickity" noise at the end of zooming in/out also. It is not very loud - not any louder than the "whine" of the lens during zooming.
My camera makes a similar noise (maybe less loud) when I push the shot button down halfway (auto focus mode) when preparing for a shot. You have to listen carefully for it.
I think it is probably normal, unless yours is Very loud.

That sound is natural. There's nothing wrong with the A85.
