i need some help here. my pc started going all screwy today for some reason. here are some of the strange things its doing:

windows mail wont even open, it says something about insufficient memory and check my disk isnt full. my disk isnt even 30% full.
nikon transfer crashes every time i try and import from my CF card
explorer and firefox both wont remember my username and passwords for any site. as soon as i shut it down and reopen it i have to enter all the stuff all over again even if i check the box "remember me"
as soon as i type anything in the search bar for explorer it shuts down
my WD backup program wont work. i get an error message and then it shuts down. the backup drive is still there and i can see them but its not backing up.
i have a remote connection for work. when i log in and click on a button it opens a new window which is my remote desktop. well now that window wont even open.

although it seems like the above is all unrelated, i run these programs regularly, daily, and didnt have any issues with any of it until today. have run spybot and it found nothing but i;m sure there's a virus or something in there somewhere. what other programs can i run to check ? or what the f**k else should i do before i thrown this fu**ing thing out the window ?

Try Malwarebytes (http://www.malwarebytes.org/)

My brothers PC was infected a week or so go but his would not let me online to download any antivirus software so I downloaded it to a cd; started his computer in safe mode F8 on startup. Installed malwarebytes and some other antivirus I can not remember now from the CD and ran them; he had about 40+ viruses etc.

This was the other software I used as well: Superantispyware (http://www.superantispyware.com/)

Your computer may need a tune up.
