I've recently moved and have not yet located the subject charger. I have two batteries, just can't find the charger.

Just in case it's not located soon, does anyone have one they might like to sell?

Gary, The 995 uses the EN-EL1 (a very common Nikon LiIon battery) so your local Wolf or Ritz, or even Wal-Mart, should have a charger. In a pinch you can use 2CR5 non-rechargables.

I didn't realize that Walmart might have the charger. They just opened a SuperCenter in town, so I guess I'll stop by on the way home.

If I find the charger, or get one at Walmart I'll lose an excuse to buy a new camera.

Well, Walmart didn't have a charger for the Nikon, though they did have several camcorder chargers.

I told the wife that if we didn't find the charger I was going to have to buy a new camera. About an hour later she found the missing charger. So all is well. Except for the new camera part of course.

Hopefully, Gary, you've learned a lesson from all of this: Do a better job of hiding the charger next time.

Agreed. Had I known the alterior motive I would have advised buying an EN-EL3, with charger, so you would have an excuse to get a D70.

When the wife found the charger I should have said "that's not it, keep looking". I could have had a new camera ordered by now!
