Hi,
I needed a camera using which I can :
1) Shoot landsacpes
2) Wild Life
3) Macro shoots
4) Shoot in Low light
5) also make some video (not very high on priority)
6) around 350$ (around)

Fulfilling my requirements I short listed:
1) Fugi Film s5100
2) canon S1 IS
3) Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z2
4) Olympus C-770 Ultra Zoom

I am still undecied over which which way to go? how big is the image stabilization featute matters? Fugi have a mega pixel over s1 and AF assistance lamp while s1 have IS feature and can zoom in and out in movies, Don't really like the design of olumpus and Z2 has poor reviews for low light.

So I guess the final fight is between s1 or s5100, I need to your feedback.

Thanks!

I'd vote for the Canon S1 - simply because I trust the Canon brand more than Fuji - at least for point-and-shoot cameras.

I'm a DiMAGE Z2 owner (not much longer perhaps) but I would NOT recommend the Z2, primarily because it does not have image stabilization. If you end up needing to use your long zoom in any kind of low light I think you'll want (and miss) stabilization. Just an opinion.

seems like Image Stabilization (IS) is a MUST HAVE feature for long zoom cameras! any camera with IS ,4MP, 10X zoom and above, I am reday to add another 50$ for that.

can check out Panasonic FZ3/4/5 or FZ15/20 (depend on the sizes
and features). All have great zoom, lens and optical image stabilizer.

Have had it for a couple weeks - took great close up and zoom pictures.
