I noticed that Canon updated the A75 and A85 with A510 & A520, are they going to release an updated A95 soon?

If so, should I wait to purchase the A95?

Thanks,
Paul

Didn't you say you already bought an A95 last week? I remember, because I noticed you didn't choose the Olympus C-60, which I thought was interesting.

IMHO there is no doubt that Canon will upgrade the A95, but I doubt that they will do it in the next 3 months.

I just order it but I haven't gotten it yet. If they were coming out with an updated model soon I would just take it back and wait until the new version came out.

I severely doubt that. I'm sure it's only been out for about 3 months.

Did I not read that you just bought th A95? - Did you not like it when you bought it? I'd say use it and enjoy it. You would have if you hadn't suspected a future replacement. Anyway - better to wait 'till the replacement is about to be replaced so you get a better deal - or would that trouble you also as there would be another replacement to desire.
It's all to easy to fall into the trap of the next one will be better....

Actually, the release date for the A95 was Aug. 31, 2004.
