this is an awesome shot. love the yellowing for the vintage effect. i have a super tak that does that, have yet to really do anything with it though.

Thanks adam. :D

I added the yellow of course but there already was some...because I used my Super Tak! :D

And here I thought the yellow was from nicotine. ;)

Booze will wreck your liver, make you jaundice, and impart a nasty yellow tone to your skin.

A Super Tak and the f stop is in the EXIF???

This forum ain't as much fun without Rhys around....:D

The EXIF is BS. I use an AF-confirm adapter. It reports f/1.4 and 55mm on any lens it's screwed to.

What's a Super Tak?
It's a Tak that's Super. You know...like Superman is a man that's Super.

In that case, where can I get me a Bizarro Super Tak?

it's just a cheap old lens converted to eos so you can have a $60 50 f/1.4

mine is cool, it's got a yellow effect, but it's noticeably about a stop darker @ f/1.4 than my sigma 50mm @ f/1.4 and nowhere near as sharp @ f/1.4. i bought it right before i decided to get the sigma. i do like it, it's tiny, the manual focus is very smooth, i just don't really have a need for it.

Yeah it's ridiculously soft wide open. People who complain about Canon's 50mm f/1.4 just have no idea. :D

At f/2 it's pretty damned crisp though - and of course the yellow is easily removed in post.

How's the adapter with the comfirmation chip working for you guys? I had asked over at POTN and the responses I got said it was kinda hit or miss and don't bother with it, so I got the basic cheapy one.

Mine isn't dead on but I found the true point of focus is pretty consistently off of the blink. It helps since I'm horrible at eyeballing. I don't trust it for weddings though.
