Hi Guys,
Sunday morning, left home around 8am for this place called 'Deepor Beel'.
Deepor Beel is a permanent, freshwater lake, in a former channel of the Brahmaputra river, to the south of the main river south-west of Guwahati city. It is a large natural wetland having great biological and environmental importance. The beel is endowed with rich floral and fauna diversity. In addition to huge congregation of residential water birds, the Deepor ecosystem harbors large number of migratory waterfowl each year. Its about 20km outside town and it was still a little foggy when i reached there.
Had to leave the car behind and trek for about 1.5km to get there..
This is what i bought back:)
