Yeah, go somewhere else...:)

You can get some nice "blue hour" shots at Griffith Observatory or the Santa Monica Pier. Point Mugu SP was also decent. Those are the only places I've been for photography.

Here is a week's worth...

Definitely Griffith Observatory.
Disney Concert Hall on First St and Grand.
Downtown buildings around Fifth St and Flower.
Pershing Square Sixth and S Olive. (pay parking underneath)
LA City Hall First St and Spring.
Union Station and Olvera St near Alameda St, north side of 101 Freeway. (pay parking)
The Getty Center on 405 Freeway NW of Los Angeles.
(Mann's) Graumann's Chinese Theater, Hollywood Blvd at Highland in W Hollywood . You can get the 2-hour Topless Fun bus tour of Hollywood for about $17 there.
7500 block of Melrose Ave, a few streets S of Hollywood Bl.
Hollywood Forever cemetery Santa Monica Bl east of Gower and/or Westwood Cem. at Wilshire and Glendon.
Rodeo Drive a couple small blocks east of Santa Monica and Wilshire intersection. (2-hour parking meters 2 blocks away at park with Beverly Hills sign)
La Brea tar pits/Page museum at Wilshire and La Brea.
Petersen automobile museum a couple blocks down at Wilshire and Fairfax.

I'm sure there is more :-)
