Here are all the P&S cameras with an articulating LCD - http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/cameraList.php?search=1&manSearch=0&resSearch=0&lcdSearch=0&storageSearch=0&priceSearch=0&cameraTypeSearch=1&zoomSearch=0&lcdTypeSearch=2&batterySearch=0&submit.x=27&submit.y=0

Of these, only the Canon G11 is pocket-sized, and it doesn't use AA batteries (no cameras use AAA) or Compact Flash. Pretty much all cameras have Image Stabilization these days. You may need to change your requirements a bit, but the G11 is a fine (if expensive) camera.

Thanks, a very helpful list. I'll check out the G-11.
My Powershot A95 has gone with purple lines flashing over the monitor, so it has left me for the eternal hunting grounds. It's a pity there is not a successor to this handy little tilting camera.
Thanks for your help.

Based on the listing, both in this forum and in others, I have narrowed down my choice to the G-11 and the SX20 IS. The latter is (much) better priced than the expensive G-11, but has notable chromatic abberration, according to the reviews. In that respect the G-11 has much higher pic quality, but alas, not so much zoom-capability. Maybe I should flip a coin, although lack of zoom is less important than mediocre pic quality for my purposes.
Greetings.
