Done a rushed portrait shoot the other day. Was asked for mostly vintage/sepia like pictures, rushed in the sense that i didn't have alot of time to PP them, so most of them are pretty close to SOC.

I brought some flashes, but didn't use them too often, i picked about 24 that i found to be decent.

Suggestions/commentaries are appreciated, i haven't done alot of these types of shoots so i'm sure theres loads i can learn.

Heres some of my favorites :

This shoot made me really want a decent prime, 50 1.4 or the 24-70 2.8, if i end up doing more of these im definitely picking up one or the other.

i like the last two a lot. they're underexposed on my screen though. i think the 3rd one is a little warmer than i'd prefer on the people though i do like the color of the background, maybe you could make two versions with the background where it is and the people a little cooler...and just blend them together. the 4th is awesome i'm just not crazy about the composition so maybe crop a little from behind him.

Good eye, i'm not sure if the pictures will warrant the time to fix them any further, as i said it was a rushed job, so i'm trying to decide if i want to showcase these photos more or if having the client happy is enough.

Thats why comments would be worthwhile 140 views you bastards!

Fun info: The last one involved 2 strobes bungee'd to the car windows, with the bottom one shooting through a kleenex as a power reducer, since it only offered high/low for power settings :) a 3rd for hairlight would of been awesome but i just didn't think of it, no excuses :(
