I shoot lighting for my business and upload youtube videos so I was wondering what you guys think I should get for that? I want the video to look really professional. I also broke my exilim camera recently that I just take out to the bars usually, but I was shooting video on that which was not super high quality. I might just buy an exilim for going to parties etc. and something for my work, what do you guys think?

Budget

* What budget have you allocated for buying this camera? Please be as specific as possible.

I'm not sure if I need a snap and shoot pocket one with HD video or another exilim for going to parties and an HD video camera for work. I shoot indoor accent lighting on video for the web.

Size

* What size camera are you looking for? Or does size not matter at all to you?
If its all in one it needs to be pocket size, I don't have a murse lol

Features

How many megapixels will suffice for you?

* What optical zoom will you need? (None, Standard = 3x-4x, Ultrazoom = 10x-12x, Other - Specify) not too important

* How important is “image quality” to you? (Rate using a scale of 1-10) video quality needs to be HD and show accent lighting well, with the exilim it kind of looked like it flashes when you dim the lights

Do you care for manual controls?

General Usage

* What will you generally use the camera for? see above

* Will you be making big prints of your photos or not? no

Will you be shooting a lot of indoor photos or low light photos? YES

Will you be shooting sports and/or action photos? no

Miscellaneous

Are there particular brands you like or hate? no

Are there particular models you already have in mind? no

(If applicable) Do you need any of the following special features? (Wide Angle, Image Stabilization, Weatherproof, Hotshoe, Rotating LCD)

HD Video, pocket size if it is on a camera or if you guys think I should buy a video camera and a separate pocket camera which I always take to bars and parties just for personal use please let me know.

Budget... I hope $500 or less, but it depends.
