Battery Grip for Pentax inst D

Hi I am after a Battery Grip model D-BG1 (Product Code 39556)
for a Pentax inst D, this model is unavailable any longer, having checked on various sites, by googling it, or can anyone suggest perhaps alternative external battery pack to use with inst D.:confused::

You could try ebay for a secondhand version. On the other hand, since you've managed so long without, do you really need one?
