Hi, I've been lurking in the shadows a while and have used the Digital Caera Resource site a lot to get the latest info on the new toys, so thank you for that.
I currently have a Canon 350 D Rebel and several lenses: 10-22 EF-S 3.5-4.5, 17-85 EF-S IS 4-5.6, 28-135 EF IS 3.5-5.6 and a 75-300 EF IS 4-5.6.
I am looking at upgrading the body (while still keeping the Rebel) to something a little more professional but trying to keep the use of all my lenses. I'm looking at the 40D and 50D as the options and I like the higher MP of the 50D (not that I will use 15MP in a lot of the applications) but more importantly I like the use of the higher ISO without as much noise (around 1600). I mostly do nature shots, some higher speed or quicker movement shots, a fair bit of outdoor night shoots (this is where the higher ISO comes in handy) and the rest is the usual pics.
So I ask What is the best Canon I can buy that allows use of all the lenses I do have? from experience, as I have read the reports on many, and currently am leaning more towards the 50D. As for price, I've been saving for a while and it's time to upgrade - so which ever camera is better.
Thank you in advance for your opinions.

Have you looked at the new 7d?

I just read the specs on it, it is a nice unit but I don't need HD video on an SLR. Which will allow me to keep the cost a bit down and still get something good. Any other suggestions or opinions?

If the 50D is within your budget....then go for it.

I want to make sure I can find the best camera that allows use of all my lenses, if that means something more expensive the the 50D then I might have to save a couple more bucks. I am looking for experience from others that have played with different options.
I did find this website that seems to have the best price but is out of China

If you get your camera at all, you will be getting a grey market product - no warranty, no backing. From what I've seen, Okaystore is not a registered retailer for just about any brand they carry.

You're in the lower mainland - just go to London Drugs, Kerrisdale, Broadway Camera, Blacks or one of the other major camera retailers in town - a couple hundred bucks is not worth the hassle.

It's the cheapest man who spends the most. It's not worth your trouble to try and save a few bucks like this. Buy from someone you know and trust.
