Lumix DMC-FZ7

Hello there, I am new here. I have a Panasonic DMC-FZ7 that works perfectly. I just found out recently that it will not recognize any SD card larger than 2mb. Is there any work around or firmware update to allow this camera to use the 4mb cards I just bought?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Not really. SD cards only address up to 2G of space, but with a hack can be made to address 4G. Most cameras won't recognize that upper address space and I wouldn't trust it anyways; too many ways things can go wrong and corrupt the data.

I think your camera will just treat it as a 2G card but maybe not. 4G SD cards are a bad idea, you're better off not using them, IMO.
