Anybody else shop here recently? I usually shop B&H, Adorama or Beach Camera but 47th had the lens I wanted for less (authorized Sigma merch. too). Anyway, so far nothing bad has happened just thought the email I recieved was strange.

Ordered online then several hours later I get email asking I print out a CC authorization form, provide all my info AGAIN, sign and fax back within 24 hrs or order is cancelled. So I called my CC company and the charge for 47th has been already submitted and authorized. So what is this nonsense about CC authorization form? Of course I called them (2:30 Pac) and they're closed.

On the plus side, they never call to sell me extra crap.

I have only bought from 47th Street about 3 times-

However, they were OK, and every thing worked out well for me.

Yeah, there was some miscommunication there a bit but I did get my lens and no other sales pitch to buy anything I didn't need. I called Sigma and confirmed lens is USA version with the 4 yr warranty.

I like to buy from B&H cause they will exchange if item that I'm buying has any problems. :)

Yeah, I know what you mean but there was another reason why I just decided to save some bucks and not buy it from B&H. BTW, 47th Street has a 7 day exchange too (vs. B&H's 15 day).
