Hey thanks!! I had this a while ago as a demo version that had functions crippled. So far everything seems to work in this one. I did scan the installer with McAfee and MalwareBytes and it appeared clean.

I just installed it and used it. I also have the Portrait Professional Max 6 (ver6.3.5). This free one does exactly the same thing and has the same exact controls. No virus :)

Here's the deal with this. You can't use the activation code more than once!
You can't use the same code if you install the Free version in more than one machine. You'll need to get another code. Also, I don't know if you can use the code again if you uninstall and reinstall in the same machine.

I am a sucker for free software:rolleyes: It's a shame I do not like taking photos of people let alone portrates !
There is a popup during installtion saying you can upgrade to version 9 from this free version 6 for just the upgrade price.
So this is pirated? Its suppose to cost $60. Did anyone read the review? Looks kinda funny and time consuming... with so-so results.
works fine for me. (not that i can actually use it yet though).lol

This is version 6 and the current version is 9. I assume its marketing - you install it, like it and upgrade to version 9.

It appears there are a few sites promoting the free download, so probably not pirated. Once you try it and like it, you'll no doubt want to upgrade, right?

It's a cool program and one worth playing around with, but sometimes the results can almost come out plasticy looking. I've been using PS for retouching and once you get the hang of PS you can generally get better results than Portrait Professional.
