The G6 got its price officially dropped by Canon on Monday from $700 to $600. You should not be buying the G6 for more than $600 anymore. If you've purchased the G6 at full price within the last month or so, get your money back if you can. This is the one great thing about buying from physical stores. It's plain and simple to do the "price guarantee" thing.
I'm also noticing that the Pro1 is beginning to be dropped from inventories, dropped in price, or liquidated at several retail stores. Perhaps this is a sign of a successor coming up at PMA?
