Just ordered the popular 35mm F1.8 from Amazon. It's out of stock but I can't wait to get this lens. This will complete my lens collection for now (18-55, 55-200VR and 35mm F1.8). I will probably just leave the 35mm on and not use the 18-55 much at all.

I'm not going to pay $300 for a $200 lens.

In June (when I ordered) the wait was around 3 weeks, down from about 2 months when it first came out. Hopefully you will have yours soon.

Amazon says they're out of stock. Some of the other sellers on Amazon that are charging a bit more have it in stock.

I guess I should be really happy with my local Camera Shop. Got it within a week for $200 several months ago now.
