hi everybody,
as I am using sd300 since 3 weeks now taking a lot of movies, I came across an issue. When we upload the movie on to the computer it just goes in the raw form,i.e. no compression, making the file size too big for very small time duration clip.I think it would be very nice if there is any means or help provided in the software bundle that came along with the camera, to compress the video into more handy(small file size) and neat looking video. I havent explored the softwares much, but if any of you guys noticed such a feature, please let me know.Or else if there is anyother means by which the original video file could be compressed to smaller file size.

In ase of my dv handycam i can capture the video in the file type and size as I desire through the software like windows movie maker or adobe premiere. How to do that in digicam ??

looking forward to some answers
cheers
ashley

you need to go to arcsoft then videoimpressions, and click the produce tab, u should be able to mess with the compression there, I think you might need to click on the settings button. The Arcsoft software should have come w/ youre camera.

i have found that windows movie maker is much easier to use when compressing files.
