Hi,

I'm about to buy a new digital camera and some friends told about Z740. I was thinking in DX7590. Reading both specifications, I checked Z740 Lens is not a Schneider Lens. Is it worth to buy new Kodak Z740 instead of DX7590? Is the new lens so good as the old one?

ViniFrankly, I hadn't heard of the Z740 until your post; evidently it was released at the January CES show, as a "little brother" perhaps to the DX7590. If it "only" has Kodak glass, I wouldn't worry too much. I think Kodak has been grinding glass longer than anyone else in the business? I found a "first impressions" review of the Z740 here.
