mobile digital storage

Need Help!!
I am trying to get some information on the best options for a mobile storage device to download and view my cameras (canon S1 IS) picture .jpg and movie (640x320 30fps .mov) files.
I have been looking at archos and epson because they seem to offer the only device that has CF slot and can view movies. I have not handled or tested any of these devices so I do not know if they can actually play the .mov avi file however, theri specs say the can.
Has anyon eused these devices or have any suggestions as to any other best of breed options.

Check out the RCA RD2780 (RCA LYRA). I recently purchased one from www.digital1234.com for about $300 (including shipping). At the time there was a $50 mail in rebate, however I don't think that promotion is running anymore. The RD2780 has a 20gb hard drive a 3.5" screen and a compact flash card reader built right in. All in all this device probably does the same thing as the others you have been looking at, but for the money you really can't beat it. Good luck
