I have a Canon PowerShot S5 IS. On July 4th I am going to be taking pictures of fire works. I was wondering what would be the best way to get good shots of fire works? or if there is even a way.

tripod...shutter speed of 1-5 seconds.....

Here is a link to some of my Fourth of July fireworks. Third post down. Since I posted these I have worked on them to darken the sky but still keep
